Oldest Fragment of the Book of Romans Found

19 Jan

CNN did an interview with Steve Green, the president of Hobby Lobby, who happens to collect rare documents. In the interview he shows a fragment from the book of Romans which he says was discovered “within the last 48 hours”! The fragment has on one side a portion of chapter nine and on the other side a portion of chapter ten. Green says it was Scott Carroll of Baylor University who made the discovery. The fragment dates to the middle of the second century. You can see the interview here.
