Multiple Views Book on Inerrancy in the Making

Peter Enns announced on his blog that he is one of the contributors on a new multiple-views book on the topic of inerrancy. Don’t expect it anytime soon (2013 is Enn’s estimated date). The other contributors are John Franke, Kevin Vanhoozer, Michael Bird and Al Mohler. The editors are James Merrick and Stephen Garrett. Enns says there won’t be five distinct view but three general views and each contributor will be asked to comment on the same three passages. Each contributor gave a list of¬†particular passages they would like to be considered for discussion. To date, it has not been decided which passages will be covered. No one does these multiple views books better than Zondervan and the line up of scholars on this topic is excellent. As I get more information I’ll keep you updated.
